About Tommy
Tommy has more than 10 years of experience in the creative industry, with 4 years in 4As advertising agency and 6 years+ working as an in-house creative lead role including senior art director and regional creative manager. Tommy graduated with BA (Hons) in Graphic Design at Anglia Ruskin University in the UK, and holds a Higher Diploma in Multimedia Design & Technology at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
In his latest role in AECOM, Tommy manages and oversees the creative works for the Asia region, covering 4 sub-regions: Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. He leads a diverse team of 6 creative designers among Hong Kong and Asia locations by giving art directions, developing and reviewing all creative contents and marketing collateral in digital channels and print , also managing the team production timelines, to achieve the creative from conceptual ideas to various deliverables. Tommy is also experienced in supporting c-suits and management presentations, strategic partnership initiatives, thought leadership, corporate branding, recruitment branding, ESG and corporate sustainability contents. Besides, Tommy has managed various external vendors for video and event production among locations in Asia.
With digital media work experience at the SCMP, Tommy is also experienced in developing creatives for various corporate branding, strategic partnership initiatives, social media and paid-marketing contents in driving readership and subscriptions, including digital brand campaign and digital marketing landing page UI/UX design. Tommy also took part in developing go-to-market visual assets for the company's web3 and NFT metadata products launch. Also, Tommy has a prolific experience of events and conferences design such as SCMP's flagships events China Conference and Redefining Hong Kong. He has sharpened his project management skills and gained a fulfilling knowledge in digital & tech aspects, which has grown together with the company in its digital transformation era.
Supported with his early career experience in 4As agency, Tommy demonstrates his creativities in various advertising campaigns to a wide range of clients, touch base of finance, aviation, real estate developer, retails and luxury motorcycle brands. He is experienced in giving art direction on branding, above-the-line and below-the-line creative, including key visual development in both digital and print, visualisation of conceptual ideas, storyboarding for TVC/animation, OOH design, social media contents, digital activations and more. He has also expanded and maintained a good creative support network and managed a list of production houses and vendors including photographers, videographers, animators and printers.
