About Tommy

Tommy is a seasoned creative professional with over a decade of experience across advertising agencies, in-house creative leadership, and international branding. He holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK and a Higher Diploma in Multimedia Design & Technology from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

He is currently a Senior Brand Designer at the UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT), where he shapes impactful brand design within the Global Communication & Marketing Hub to support international trade and business growth.

Previously, Tommy served as Regional Creative Manager at AECOM, overseeing creative work across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. He led a diverse team of six designers, managing projects from concept through to execution across digital and print marketing, corporate branding, ESG and sustainability communications, recruitment campaigns, thought leadership, and executive presentations. He also collaborated with external vendors across Asia for video and event production.

At the South China Morning Post (SCMP), Tommy contributed to the company’s digital transformation by developing corporate branding assets, social media and paid-media campaigns, and UI/UX design for marketing platforms. He supported the launch of SCMP’s Web3 and NFT initiatives and designed for flagship events such as the China Conference and Redefining Hong Kong.

Earlier in his career, Tommy built a strong foundation in 4As agencies, directing creative campaigns for clients across finance, aviation, real estate, retail, and luxury lifestyle sectors. His experience covered branding, ATL/BTL creative, key visual development, TVC and animation storyboarding, OOH design, social media content, and digital activations. Over the years, he has cultivated a wide network of photographers, videographers, animators, and production houses across the region.

With his blend of agency, corporate, and government experience, Tommy combines creative vision with strategic execution, making him a versatile leader in both traditional and digital media landscapes.
